*PUA Lingo does not endorse or support the use of these terms. We strive to describe them the best we can based on the seduction community’s uses for them in improving men’s (and some women’s) dating lives.
RAA is caused by the fact that women don’t know how to react when being approached directly in the daytime.
Although there are many reasons a girl would walk/run away after an approach (such as being late for something, having a boyfriend, or simply not being interested), RAA specifically refers to girls running off after displaying an IOI (such as smiling, laughing, or even touching the approaching PUA).
To date, the main reasons for RAA are:
- Some girls don’t know how to react to being picked up in broad daylight
- Some girls are actually afraid of messing up the interaction
- Some girls don’t want to feel slutty by being picked up easily
It has been reported that incidents of RAA happen much less frequently to PUAs that are considered “not traditionally good looking,” as opposed to guys that are considered “good looking.” As counterintuitive as it seems, this suggests than women are actually much more likely to run away from you when they are initially attracted, rather than not. This demonstrates the importance of always re-opening day game targets. Read more on RAA from Sasha’s blog:
