The use of pink to refer to the hue between purple and red was first developed in the late 17th century; however, the colors that make up the pink hues existed long before the 17th century. They were words that came from Proto-Indo-Languages such as Armenian, for example. In Hindi for example, pink is called gulabi, which means “color of rose.”
Pink is a tough color for a man to pull off. When done correctly, can make a man stand out in a room. Because of its feminine nature and association, it works best when contrasted with a more dominant looking male face or avatar.
