• Green

The etymology of the color “green” is likely to be German and by some accounts Dutch as well.  It is thought that green was the original name to describe all plants including grass.  Both the words grass and green appear to have come from the Proto-Indian word “ghre.”

Green is a tough color to pull off, however looks amazing when done right. Darker shades of green look completely different than bright green, which is usually featured in women's fashion more so than men's.
