AKA Forced IOI
Quick Definition: An action that forces a girl to disclose clues about whether she’s into you or not.

In Stealth Attraction, Gambler talks about some ways to force IOIs from girls at different venues. After “approach priming,” which is building up one’s social value, you can force IOIs. The way to do this, according to Gambler, is to gesture to something that is conventional and socially accepted way of greeting someone:
- You can look at a girl and wink
- You can look at a girl and raise your glass
- You can look at a girl and give her a cocky, funny look
- You can stick your tongue out
- You can wave, and if she doesn’t wave back, pretend like it was someone behind her
All of these are subtle enough, and, in a loud club, no one will know if she reacts badly. Your opening is so subtle that a real “rejection” is never experienced since the threshold of attention is so subtle and low. Other people won’t notice it, and you retain your value at the venue.
Force an IOI to see if she’s really into you or just looking.
