Engine of Survival

Quick Definition: Nature’s long-established emphasis on replicating as the prerequisite to all species on earth surviving and evolving.

Full Definition:

Biologically, to survive, we must pass on our genes. As organisms, we are designed as engines of survival. Our bodies have evolved to hunt, survive, replicate, and rear our offspring. In biology, the goal in life is the pass on our genetics, so that they may evolve and continue to survive.

Engine of survival theory is not specific to humans and extends to all other organisms that have lived on this planet for a long time and have evolved.

While some may find it bleak to compare the meaning of life with passing on one’s genes, people are sure to have other goals in life. This phrase or expression is merely an explanation for the meaning of life from a evolutionary biology perspective.
