Quick Definition: A mode of very high energy, momentum based sarging
*PUA Lingo does not endorse or support the use of these terms. We strive to describe them the best we can based on the seduction community’s uses for them in improving men’s (and some women’s) dating lives.
Beast mode is a type of very high energy sarging which relies on two basic tenets: not caring too much about what others think (you are really not that important) and building unstoppable momentum from the get go. While a regular PUA would maybe open a few warm up sets to get into a social mood and seek to build momentum slowly but surely, a pickup artist in beast mode will just start out with high energy, and approach every set he sees.
“Going beast” involves a lot more high-risk, high-payoff moves like picking a girl up or hugging her on the street, and then either starting a conversation or, sometimes walking away without saying a word. This allows the artist to practice putting him masculine energy out there without wanting an “outcome”. (Outcome independence)
The thing about going into beast mode is that a pickup artist must be ready for all types of reactions, good, bad and ugly. And the success rate really is 50/50. Some girls might funny and be attracted to the ballsyness of it all, while some girls might be creeped out and turned off. Some girls might even go as far as to slap you and walk away. So the important thing to remember when going in with beast mode on is to do it purely for the fun of it and be completely outcome independent. If you have even a sliver of doubt about being embarrassed or are worried about what people around you might think, you’re missing the entire point about beast mode.
That said, it is important to keep in mind to not be an outright jerk that makes women feel threatened. That would just be in bad taste.
Usage: He decided to stop worrying about the outcome and just went into beast mode.
