In psychology, a technique where simple questions designed to elicit a “yes” or positive response are asked in sequence with increasing commitment to get increasing compliance from someone.
Full Definition:
Yes-ladders set a precedence for compliance, and are great to getting more compliance than if the PUA just asked the real compliance test right off the bat.
For example: “Are you spontaneous? Good. Are you an adventurous person? Have you ever done anything that was a little crazy? Have you ever made out with someone you just met? Wouldn’t you regret it if you didn’t?”
Usage:
Yes-ladders are great for testing a girl’s compliance thresholds and pushing them even further.
