Quick Definition:

Resistance that a woman puts up to sexual escalation.

Token resistance is different than LMR, in that it is not a genuine disinterest in the woman’s part to not participate in sex. Due to conscious or unconscious behavior or what she may think of herself, or what her social circle may think of her, or even what the man will think of her, the woman offers up token resistance to dilute the “slut” issue.

Token resistance can occur either because of ASD, where she does not want to feel like a slut, or during LMR, when her biological triggers sense danger and she is trying to sort out her feelings. Responses to token resistance depends on the level of resistance. Most token resistance can be met by some persistence in push and pull psychology. Always stay calm, remain unaffected, and be willing to settle for making out or a blowjob. It is very possible that this will increase her arousal and become past the point of no return anyway. Freeze outs, or verbally agreeing with her, and physically escalating anyway (subcommunication, duality) can also work to break down resistance.

Always remember that if a woman says “Stop” or uses an otherwise strong resistance response (i.e. pushing you away forcefully), STOP. Being convicted of being a rapist will definitely end one’s PUA career.
