Quick Definition: A prediction of the future that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, because of the positive or negative feedback between the person’s belief and behavior.

Napoleon Hill illustrates in “Think and Grow Rich” that “thoughts become words, words become action, action becomes behavior, behavior becomes character, character defines your destiny”. As such, strong beliefs and strong thoughts often translate, over time, into fulfilling destinies and prophecies.
This effect can be positive or negative. A negative person may believe that they are unworthy of the HB, in which case their behaviors create success barriers to their game and reaction of certain events.
We don’t always know exactly where we will end up in life, and even if so, there are many variables that may influence us over the course of time. What does happen, however, especially with an artist dedicated to self improvement, is that they move in small directions an goals towards the bigger mountain. Over time, even if they haven’t reached the stars yet, they have achieved some semblance of success, and may have landed instead of the moon. And they realize that they view from the moon isn’t so bad, and that they would not gotten there had they not shot for the stars.
Usage:
