Quick Definition: The act of going out in field, usually with other PUAs, with the explicit intention of picking up girls.

Full Definition:

Sarge, or sarging, is used to describe the act of going out and actually using PU techniques to pickup HBs. Instead of “going out” with the buddies and hoping to get lucky, the PUA sarges with the specific intention of seducing multiple targets.

This is good because the PUA is not making irrelevant excuses for why he is out. Instead of AFCs pretending to enjoy themselves, when they would rather be in the company of women, but decide to do nothing about it. Sarging is an opportunity for multiple PUAs to go out and practice their skills, and offer each other feedback. PUAs hold the strong belief and understanding that women want to be seduced, and that a pickup by a mPUA done well is a gift to women.

Sarging can be bad sometimes because some PUAs become social robots, and go out only for sarging, essentially becoming sargeholics. It is important to go out for the sake going out once in a while, with friends, to enjoy the mood in the bar, movie, or social event.

Sarging gives focus to a night pickup, and is great for organizing every now and then events for the community to bond.  The term is said to come from the name of Ross Jeffries’ pet cat, Sargy.

Never really liked this term. What’s wrong with just “going out?”

I suppose that AFCs are not honest to themselves and others about their intentions when they say they are “going out”.

Also AFCs are hoping to “get lucky”, rather than develop proper objectives and endpoints.

It is not an issue of honesty. It is an issue of clarity and intent. If you are just “going out”, you are just going out, with no particular goal or purpose. If you are sarging, then the intent is clear and you cannot make excuses to yourself about what you are doing or not doing.
