Purposely appearing unsure or unconfident about a subject, in order to lure a woman to shit test a subject that one is actually strong in.
Full Definition:
Sandbagging in pickup is similar to the term in poker, where a player will purposely bet passively on a strong hand in order to draw other players to act aggressively. In pickup, one attempts to lure the woman into testing the very areas that one is strong in.
An example of sandbagging could be to tell a woman: “You seem like a great dancer, I am still learning salsa, but will you dance with me for practice?” and then blowing her away with one’s superior dancing skills. This achieves 2 things – that the PUA is very humble about his skills, making the woman think, “what other skills could he have?” It also triggers attraction via surprise, and because it was unexpected, she will not likely forget this DHV.
Sandbagging in practice is similar to disqualification, except one is actively trying to bait the woman into testing one’s strengths.
