After mastering key patterns from NLP specifically designed for pickup, a skilled NLP practitioner can develop patterns on the fly (POTF). This gives him flexibility to spontaneously create patterns based on the conversation topic at hand, creating a much higher degree of flexibility in using NLP techniques whenever and wherever he wants. At this point, his NLP communication style is already part of his motor response.
