Paradoxical Realities

Quick Definition: AKA Paradoxical theories. A term used to describe conflicting ideas that appear in pickup and seduction.

Tyler Durden talks about paradoxical realities in the Cliff’s list seminar of 2005. In it, he describes ideas and teachings that seem to contradict one another. Here are some examples of game paradoxes that can happen in an aspiring PUA’s head:

1. Model after the best man! They are the best at what they do. This is the quickest way to improve. Wait a minute. Be your best self man! Only you are you and no one else has our qualities. Bring out the inner you.

2. Mystery: “The game is linear. If you do A, B, C, you can SYSTEMATICALLY create attraction and interest from your targets”. Charisma Arts: “The game is non linear! It is about connecting with people, bringing out one’s inner vibe and energy, and being open to social interactions (improvisation)”.

3.Be sexual. A man by nature has masculine sexual energy. Let women feel this. But wait a minute. What kind of man can’t keep his dick in his pants? Can he focus on something else other than sex? Thinking of sex gives away his power to the woman!

There are just some examples of the many paradoxes and conflicting ideas in game. There are many others. Tyler at the end of his session, notes that at the end of the day, you must go out and field test what works for you. Only by gathering primary research will an artist find out what style is right for him, and the truths that are his own in this world.
