Over Qualification (OQ)
Quick Definition: When a PUA demonstrates too much value relative to an HB he is gaming, to the point where she thinks she is unworthy of a relationship with him.
Full Definition:
OQ is an over demonstration of the PUA’s value without bringing the value of the HB up as well. While it is important to DHV oneself, it is equally important not to overdo it, and balance out DHVs by appreciating characteristics in the target so that she feels she has value as well.
OQ is different than bragging too much, which is incongruent and actually a DLV. Over qualification is the result of genuine DHVs, not approval seeking behavior.
