Full Definition:
Most of the men’s seduction movement focuses on a moment of clarity where the man makes a commitment to get good with women. In every journey, there is the first step. For those that become pick up artists, their journey usually begins during a moment of defeat. This moment of defeat is often related to a break up, a girl’s rejection, or years of being lonely and then something negative happening.
Because of human nature, we tend to embrace change only when things deteriorate. Otherwise, our systems are balanced, and we are generally lazy. The moment of defeat is usually followed by a choice: to continue living a life not worth living, or to become better. The moment of inspiration happens later on, when the artist finds something to aspire to.
This can be as easy as finding an online PUA forum full of others like him, or meeting a master PUA for the first time and seeing him demonstrate a pickup or a set.
Multiple moments of defeat and inspiration can be experienced on one’s journey, and it is important to remember that these moments are what keep life interesting.
