Merging sets together is a powerful pickup technique because the PUA earns social proof which is a DHV. Experienced PUAs can take over an entire room, merging different sets together, and taking advantage of the various social dynamics that arise from the merging.
Merging is one of the core components of flash game, and merging sets will ensure the PUA is the social center and also opens the PUA up to DHV and opening opportunities with HBs within the sets.
Merging previous sets with new sets is known as forward merging, and introducing new sets to old sets is called backward merging.
