Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
Quick Definition: A hierarchical listing of mankind’s basic needs, with food, water, shelter, and sex at the bottom, and self-actualization at the top.
Full Definition:
Developed by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 paper “A Theory of Human Motivation”, the hierarchy details our needs as humans from a very basic and primal nature to our more developed and enlightened desires.
It is important for a PUA to be mindful of his other needs other than pickup, and to lead a balanced life, and the hierarchy can help him achieve this. In additional to Wealth, Health and Love, a PUA must develop all foundations of his life, which adds to his passive value and makes him more attractive to women.
Maslow’s hierarchy also points out that sex is a primal need and therefore to deny it is to deny a basic need for human happiness.
