Lairs have developed rapidly all over the world with the advent of the internet and mainstream cultural movement of the seduction community. Usually, cities with large populations have at least one lair that is organized by volunteers within the community. Prominent lairs in major cities such as San Francisco regularly host meetings, and gurus such as Style, Mystery, Zan and many others still stop by to speak to such groups. Pickup lairs are a great place for aPUAs and PUAs to gather together and improve their pickup skills and find local wings to go sarging with.
Lairs also often host group outings and special events where prominent pickup gurus come to speak, and typically provide online resources and forums for its members. Increasingly, lairs have been attracting wing girls, who have taken a fascination with learning seduction techniques. The core of the lairs, however, remains mostly a male bonding and knowledge sharing group.
