Indirect Game
Quick Definition: The type of game that encompasses seduction techniques where the PUA does not convey direct interest in the target right away. Interest is given as she has demonstrates enough value relative to the PUA’s DHVs and passive value.

Indirect game is one of the foundations of MM.
As a general overview, indirect approaches are subtle, and very “under the radar” versus a direct approach. It gives the PUA flexibility to maneuver the pickup to befriending the girls if they seem not interested in a romantic relationship, or using the targets as social proof and pivots. It also allows for role reversals where the target can qualify herself to the PUA post-attraction as she does not know the PUA’s real intentions.
Despite the benefits, indirect game can appear insincere, if the PUA is incongruent, such as appearing indirect in conversation but subcommunicating that he is obviously interested in her with his body language. Indirect game also does not exhibit as much risk taking as direct game does, thus overall, a lower risk and lower reward strategy compared to direct game.

I’m feeling playful– I’m going to go indirect tonight.
