Gambit
| Knowledge Sphere: | Venusian Arts / Mystery Method |
Quick Definition: Typically a short memorized line or routine that can be used to deal with specific situations that arise during a pickup.
Full Definition:
Gambits are canned routines that are designed for specific purposes such as increasing BT, creating DHV spikes, or just keeping a conversation going. Well developed gambits are like grenades in a PUA’s arsenal that can be thrown into an interaction to deliver the desired result.
For example, Mystery’s kiss gambit:
PUA: “Would you like to kiss me?”
HB: Yes/No/Maybe/Hm
If yes, great.
If maybe, “let’s find out” and lean in.
If no, “that’s ok, I didn’t say you could, you look like you had that on your mind.”

Usage:
I have a whole series of gambits prepared to deal with any situation.

I clicked on the video, but instead of the hot woman an ugly guy appeared on my screen – what a bad impression that makes! You are not interested in my wellbeeing.
@Carl Rogers: Sorry buddy. We do run some ads within context. I think Dan Rose is pretty cute though :)
