Often a cause of AA (Approach Anxiety) and often regularly used with AFC’s, the person is either too scared to make the approach or has second thoughts and doubts/ indecisiveness whether to approach or not.
This ultimately ends up with having the AFC not approaching the target at all. In very rare instances this happens to PUA’s but on VERY rare occasions as PUA’s no longer have an anxiety about approaching targets as this does worry them.
Scenario:
Guy walks past HB10, guy thinks about approaching, turns around and starts walking in her direction to open and 1000 different reasons about how she could react to him start entering his mind, thus, causing internal conflict and self doubt, ultimately resulting in failure in the end and no approach was manifested.
Excuses then fall onto the girls lap as the AFC cannot be in the wrong for the approach. Excuses can often range from: “I’ll get the next one” “She probably wasn’t my type anyway” “She was too hot for me” to “She probably had a BF anyway…” “She looked like a bitch. I hate bitches!” etc.’
