External Interrupt
Quick Definition: An abrupt change in the internal dynamic of a set, often caused by someone else’s arrival.
Full Definition:
External interrupts can be from friends or other AMOGs or other people alike (such as a bouncer breaking up a fight). It can also come from events, for example an earthquake (extreme) or lights turning on at the end of the night. In any of these cases, the artist must improvise to continue the conversation or set, depending on where he is with his interaction with the girl.
Ideally, skilled PUAs can predict external interrupts by keeping a close eye on nearby social dynamics and friends of the target. However, it is hard to always know what is going on, and therefore it is important to gain experience in field in dealing with external interrupts.
Usage:
My set was blown due to an external interrupt.
