Crash and Burn (C&B)
Quick Definition: Getting badly rejected or ignored from a set when attempting an approach or during an interaction.
Full Definition:
C&Bs can happen to the best PUAs, although much more to PUAs just starting out. It is important for the PUA to keep his cool and move on, ejecting as gracefully as possible.
As with all things, pickup is a learning process. Getting a set to C&B is a good way for new PUAs to test their conversational and kino limits and improve their calibration. It can also be fun to C&B on purpose at the beginning of the night, making all the other sets easy in comparison.
Usage:
I crashed and burned that last set, but it was a good warm-up.
