Blurs usually occur because of weak phone game. Even though the PUA may have created a favorable impression during the initial interaction, somehow the attraction is lost while talking over the phone. This can be the result of weak conversation skills, of coming across as too needy by calling too often, or even not calling enough.
Generally, unless one has really strong phone game, it is a good idea to arrange for a day 2 as soon as possible, so that the PUA can escalate the interaction is person. Text game can also be a substitute for actually speaking on the phone, and can be a low commitment way to continue an interaction with an HB.
