For many PUAs, The Game was the first they have heard of the seduction community. For the first time, an award winning journalist was able to describe, in detail, the various triumphs and losses he experienced while learning from the best within the community.
The publishing of The Game led to the beginning of the seduction community’s move into mainstream media spotlight. Over the next few years, momentum started to develop around seduction techniques becoming a part of pop culture TV shows. However, it was not until The Pickup Artist aired on VH1 that the seduction community became fully “mainstream” here in the US.
