    AKA Push and Pull

Quick Definition: The ability to temporarily retreat and take a loss in order to win big.

    Full Definition:

This is a key element of game because often times girls will put up shields on purpose to test a man’s true worth. The true warrior knows that in order to win the war, he’s going to take some battle losses and this isn’t personal. The warrior therefore doesn’t despair with a loss or temporary defeat, and soldiers on. This communicates strength and endurance to the female, and his ability to be with her and protect her offspring in the long term.

In set, PUAs may face shit tests, or temporary rejection with an AMOG. The target is usually testing the PUA to see what he is made of. Especially girls of high value. She needs to be sure that the man she’s sleeping with is not lying about his true social value.

For example, a PUA may need to apologize for an overly harsh neg, and then recover from that. The effect of the neg, however, has already hit.

Sometimes, a PUA can be really funny and teasing the girl non-stop. However, this can easily transition into dancing monkey syndrome. It is important to take a step back and just chill. Relate. Talk normally to a girl. This shows the PUA that he is a real person and can identify with her as a human being.

Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is a master of 2 forward, one step back in this segment with the Real Housewives of Atlanta:

If the PUA is being rejected or forced to take multiple steps back, this does not mean he keeps pushing back – sometimes it is important to eject the set and recover your time with another more interest party. 2 steps forward, 1 step back therefore applies strategically and tactically in game.

    Usage:

Sometimes you have a take a step back to take 2 forward.
